Ps3 Headset/Bluetooth Help?

hey my ps3 shows i have a mic but the bluetooth set aint working ( well my voice aintgetting through ) im playing cod4 audio thing wont wont move from defult any ideas?
 
When i connect my bluetooth, it has that bar thingy at the top where it shows how much volume is getting through. When ur at that stage, u have to press the left directional key instead of the circle.
