[QUOTE="FlAsHeRtRaY, post: 1636172, member: 406839"] my psp slim 2000 laser for my umd disc stopped working last week. when i say stopped working, i mean you hear no noise of it trying to read umd discs, or anything.. the loading symbol in the lower right hand corner doesn't appear at all. so i thought my umd drive went out and that all i needed to do was get a new one. i got a new umd drive, and it still doesn't show any signs of it powered on when the psp is on. so now im thinking it's the psp motherboard. so my question is if i get a new psp slim motherboard, will my new umd drive power on or nothing can be done to fix it? by the way, my psp is not hacked or anything.. official firmware... everything. and yes, all the cables from the umd drive are connected to the motherboard.
