Pulling him away...what could this mean?!?

So, this morning I had a dream that I was in one of the buildings at my college and that I was going downstairs. Just as I was walking down the stairs, I saw the guy I'm interested in (who isn't even in college) just about to walk up the stairs. Now, just for a bit of history...I'm interested in him & I'm pretty sure he's interested in me as well but, due to different and somewhat complicated circumstances we haven't seen or come into contact with one another for about a month. Maybe a bit more. But, I think about him almost, if not daily. Anyway, in the dream he saw me and we were both glad to see each other. He said hello to me and just as he was about to start a conversation with me a crowd of students walked past us and interrupted our conversation. Not only that but, I saw people pulling onto his arm and shirt, trying to pull him away from me. I saw him struggling a bit (but not too much) trying to get them off of him while I just stood there and watched. If I remember correctly, I think I even walked away slowly from the scene. If it helps at all, in the dream, I was wearing the same sweatshirt I had originally planned to wear for the day in real life. After that, I just woke up. I tried to finish the dream after I woke up but, I couldn't. By the way if it helps, this guy and I are just acquaintances. We don't know one another too well, but, I'm pretty sure there's a mutual interest between us. So, could you guys interpret my dream and tell me what you think it might mean? What could it be saying about me, our "relationship", etc?
P.S. I am not involved with this guy but, I would like to be.
