putting a tachometer in my 1986 chevy short box.?

not sure on which models are good but there is a hole in the firewall to run a cord located in the kickplate under the steering wheel. i believe that most just hook up to your distributor cap

also try looking at summitracing.com the have lots of parts and most have instructions

i recently bought a 1986 chevy short box and it drives me crazy not to be able to see the RPMs. so any advice on which one, how to install it or where has worked best for others would be greatly appreciated.

This is a very simple installation as there is already a connection on the HEI distributor to connect the tac to. What make or where to install it is your personal choice.
