Pyrex dish instead of roasting pan?

The chicken drumsticks recipe calls for a roasting pan, but I don't have one. I do have a pyrex dish, would that work? I also heard of people lining their pans with rolled up aluminum strips in place of a rack. Any ideas?
 
The deal with roasting in pyrex is that it gets very hot and will burn the food allot easier especially things like thin meats. If roasting in pyrex make sure to use a small steel rack to place the meat on and put some water or wine in the bottom of the pan to help keep it moist.
