I have some movies in .avi format heaving 700mb of length and 2:15hr of duration. I want to burn these movies in a 4.7 GB of video DVD. So that I can play them on my DVD player. For this purpose, I used a paid software Magic DVD Creator. it has a verity of option to configure the menu adding subtitles, ntsc and pal format and it support verity of video format etc etc etc. This software first encode the .avi format into MPEG and after encoding allow to burn the encoding DVD folder into video DVD disk and announce that the burned DVD can be playable at both pc and DVD-player MY QUESTION IS QUES1> When I insert a 700MB movie in a magic DVD creator. It prompt the message that the “size of file id more than DVD5/DVD9 adjust the quality of movie” The quality by default is at medium level when I point it at the lower level it stops prompt. As I heard that 4.7 mb DVD has 120-200 min to play capacity then why I get a message after inserting a 700mb movies of 2:15 min Duration ? QUES2> I got a video DVD from my cousin that DVD has 6 movies in it and is playable at both my computer and DVD player all the movies in it are in .vob format. Is it means that if I convert the .avi movies to .vob format then I may able to burn more than one movies in a video DVD disk?
