Question about the Zune. Will it play music i downloaded off P2P and torrent sites?

I read somewhere that i have to download licenses for every illegally downloaded song. I am planning to buy a Zune and am curious if it is worth if it will not play my extensive downloaded songs.

This is a question. Please do not tell me off for downloading music illegally. I just do, and millions do, too. If you plan to tell me off, then just don't answer.
