I'm a life time PC user, Google products fanatic, and I had my Droid 2 (best phone I've ever used) for a year and a half before I dropped it one too many times yesterday and it's done for. So I need a new phone and have to make a decision here soon. The main reason why I started considering iPhone was because I'm switching over to a Macbook Pro in a month for a computer and figured the features of the iPhone would be a lot more smooth and in sync with with the Mac.
I never had any problems with my Droid though so I'm hesitant to switch. I am an extremely heavy texter and even more extremely heavy internet browser user. I love the open source format of the Androids and quite frankly don't know if I could stand not being able to access all internet content without flash and stuff.
I've had apple products before like iPods and itouches and found them extremely frustrating, glitchy, and anal as hell. My mom had an iPhone at one point (I think it was a 3G) and hated using it as it rarely ever worked right and did half of what my droid did. The iPhone 4s just came out and it looks like all the S and iOS5 did was make it more like the androids, a year and a half after what my droid was already doing.
But I hear all this crazy hype about the iPhone, and everybody says it the best phone ever and I'm not sure why, I've done hours and hours of research and am always keeping up with smart phone trends and I just don't understand how it can possibly run better than my outdated droid that worked flawlessly or what the advantages will be if I do switch
I literally can't decide between droid 3 or iPhone 4s so you guys decide for me; what do I go with?
