R. Kelly and Idolator clearly have a special relationship. We certainly hope that you come here for all your R. Kelly-related news, but even the most dedicated observer can get buried in material, not unlike the guy somewhere who collects Lil' Wayne freestyles. Keeping that in mind, we'd love for you to read the entire Hattie Collins article that appeared in Saturday's [I]Guardian[/I], but if you don't have time, here's a quick summary:
1. To interview R. Kelly, you must sign a confidentiality form and have your picture taken.
2. These topics must not be mentioned: His legal issues; his wife; his brother; the late Aaliyah; and the completely forgotten Sparkle.
3. R. Kelly has a "Cheers style" bar where a show starring Calista Flockhart plays mutely on the flatscreen televisions. Ron Isley apparently keeps a tab there.
4. According to a fan quoted in the article, Chicago "has his back".
5. With regards to "Trapped in the Closet" Parts 13-30, being edited now, even Kells "couldn't tell you what's going to happen."
6. The good thing about God? "He'll keep your secrets".
