Rabbit Hunting in Tucson, AZ?

I live in Vail, AZ. I am interested in hunting rabbit (Either cottontail or jack) every once in a while. I'll get a license so I'll be legit, and I would like to know of any good places within' an hours drive from Vail, AZ.

Any help would be awesome, if you know of a place, please link to directions or a map, website, etc...

I don't see how you could go out into the desert and NOT stumble 8,000 rabbits, particularly near dawn and dusk. You can head to almost any open desert area (plenty around Vail) like on Santa Rita Road, Redington Pass, or even off Mescal Road, and find lots and lots of rabbits at certain times of the year.
