In my case, the dog attacked my beagle/basset puppy that I was walking. I picked my puppy up and tried to run from the dog. This was a mistake. The dog jumped on me (trying to get my dog) and bit my lip. I had to have 13 stitches. My dog ended up with internal injuries on had to be euthanized. The dog that attacked was a shepard mix and I was the 2nd person that had this happen to them. The dog was taken away by the shelter and put in quarantine for 10 days for rabies observation and then euthanized. I still feel bad about the dog being euthanized due to not being the dogs fault. I was not trained and socialized. I was a dog that grew up in its backyard without any attention.</p></blockquote><p></p>
