I just put a transmission in a 93 dodge dakota and a new converter. The tranny isn't new though just converter is. when the engine is running( at idle mainly) I hear a rattling noise coming from around the converter and bell housing area. and fluid leaks out of the bottom of the bell housing. doesn't pour out but leaks a good amount over night. I read up and found it could be the front seal on tranny or a seal on the converter. The things is when installing the converter i didn't see any rubber seals but It was all greased up and i added fluid to it before putting it in.
