Re-introduction of third-level fees?

My opinion is that if they reintroduce the fees there will be alot of intelligent people who deserve a third level education that will not be able to avail of one due to not being able to afford it, luckily i'm only in a small college but if i were attending a Uni i wouldn't be able to afford the fees.

What is your opinion on this?

Im in UCD, in my first year of a 3 year course. It's going to affect me...as well as my younger sister who is currently in secondary school and looking to go to university in a couple of years.

I'm lucky because my parents can afford to pay for me so I dont have to worry (sorry for sounding like a spoiled brat).
However, I have a lot of friends in college who aren't as fortunate and this is going to hit them hard.
I know that for a lot of people, even paying the 1,500 registration fee was difficult...

Surely this decision is going to block thousands of students from reaching their potential and achieving a degree...and all because they can't afford the tuition???
I just don't see the 'positives' in this. And even if there is any, I dont reckon they outweight the negative aspects

I think its a disgrace to be honest, making anyone pay for education. I always thought that was one of the great things about the system in this country.
