Reasons Roger is to blame for Piggy's death-LOTF?

I'm having trouble coming up with reasons that Roger is responsible for Piggy's death in Lord of the Flies. Of course I've thought of the obvious "He knew what he was doing, He understands that it is wrong" I'm trying to think of better reasons. I believe he is to blame for the death, and I'm sure I'm missing some really obvious reasons. Also, if there are any exact quotes that might help explain it, I'd love to know.
