recipe for potato & banana dish?

Hi all - many, many years ago I had a recipe for a dish that included cubed potatoes, chopped up bananas and (I think) paprika. From memory it was cooked in a frypan. Does anyone have a similar recipe? I'm fairly sure the recipe was originally in the Woman's Day magazine (Australia) but am not 100% sure.

I know a similar dish but it had plantains not bananas in it. They will hold up much better then bananas when fried. You cook the potatoes and plantains in a frying pan with butter or peanut oil and can sprinkle with either paprika and/or cayenne pepper. A friend who grew up in Panama used to make it for me years ago but I have no idea what the name of it is.
