So a few weeks ago, i was halfway through a big intersection (with red light cameras) and the light turned yellow. Before I was able to reach the end, i saw the the light had turned red (as i was under it) because the traffic in front of me stopped, forcing me to stop. When it turned red, my cop radar started going crazy. I was freaking ot because I didn't want to get a ticket because of something I couldn't help. My definition of "running a red light" is seeing the light in front of you turn yellow and speeding up to make it. This wasn't the case for me. It was green as I drove into the interesection, it jus happened to turn yellow and red before I got all the way through because of traffic. They can't really give me a ticket for that can they? Anyways I got the mail yesterday and I frantically looked through it. I saw a green envelope addressed to "registered driver at *adress*." It's from Geico. All I can see through the front of te envelope is "savings notice." Is this the ticket or is this something that everone with geico gets? If not ,who are the ticket senders and how much do tickets normally cost in the state of Alabama? Also, if you get a red light ticket through mail, do you have to go to court and what is court like? Thanks a bunch!
