You hunger for it only grew with Rapala Trophies, and you have already preordered Hooked on the basis of the free fishing controller alone. If all this rings true, then Hudson's Fishing Master is for you. Just announced for the Nintendo Wii, Fishing Master puts you in the shoes of an up-and-coming young fisherman goaded into trying to win fishing tournaments by his grandfather, whom I am assuming is a hollowed-out shell of a man projecting his failed dreams onto his poor grandson, who'd probably rather be playing Zelda.
Distributed in North America by Konami, the game features a deep single player game as well as a four player multiplayer mode that must be painfully glorious to watch in action. We'll be seeing the game in action at Konami's booth at E3, and I'm sure we'll keep you posted if anything overly exciting happens. It's not that I don't like fishing...it's just that I've never caught a fish in my life and I am bitter. Oh god...I AM that grandfather!
