Religiously asking ..why does Q and A keep saying I have random amounts of points?

I sign on and it says You have 33 points over and over and now 24 points. I only come here for the vast amount of points and the wonderful fiendships I have not forged over the years.
When I asked a question it added 15 points. I will ask another. I will be rewarded for being ignorant. This happens all the time here.
It's like playing the point lotto. Another 15 for breathing.

It is puzzling since only two to four points are actually being added in answering each question.

I guess some people like to keep score. I personally don't care about points.

Sometimes Y/A doubles or triples points on purpose. That may be going on now since Christmas is near.

I think the Yamster is having a stroke. I have that problem, too.

It's doing that to me too for the last 2 days (I'm using the Canada green site). Some kind of bug I assume.
