So there's this dude I'm sort of into. I had been in denial about my feelings until recently. The reason is because in my group of friends this isn't exactly the most sought after guy. He's 25, and because of some shitty circumstances, some of his doing - he doesn't really have a job and he's gotten a large amount of cash stolen from him 2x, forcing him to move back in with his parents. Things are sort of looking up though he's going to school in the fall, etc. Our personalities click really well, if he would just take care of himself a little more I'd be super interested. To make matters worse for himself- hes still a virgin. Now, I got a text from my friend, (I'm 21 btw) and he said "Heard u were gonna get with ____ last night. Better take a breather"
This kind of stuff just makes me even more reluctant....but he's always on my mind. I recently slept at his place because I couldn't drive home, we held hands, but that was all. I have been a little flirty towards him recently, but since I'm unsure if I will act on anything, I don't want to lead him on.
Do you think I should pursue this guy or does it sound like everybody is right and I should keep my distance?
