...than Marijuana? I'm sorry ....I just don't get it... I guess it's my dumb liberal brain but what is that makes Tobacco safer again? or booze for that matter?
Unicorn : what did I assume? I simply directed this question at them because I think Republicans should fight for it more seeing as how they don't like government involvement. I think it's you who should assuming.
 
yes, your liberal thinking got the best of you. None of the three are good for you but weed is illegal and smokes and booze are, if your of age. what part of this don't you understand? Obviously youre a pot-head looking for an excuse to smoke.......

Because most repubs think that people who smoke are uncontrollable. or lazy people. Or that Tabacco is AMERICAN AND DAT POT IS TEH SOCIALIZT FRUME FRUANCE!
 
It is no safer than alcohol in the short and run long for sure.... and it is no safer than tobacco in the long run. The intoxication makes it more dangerous than tobacco.... in the long run I imagine smoking is just as bad as tobacco (any smoke in the lung is really bad to that organ).. Either way though I really could care less if marijuana is legal or not. I think there are more pressing issues to address right now than marijuana legalization.
 
Tobacco does not impair people's judgment like alcohol and marijuana, and that is a big difference if they the pilot of the plane you are a on. however I don't see much difference between the use of alcohol and marijuana,
 
Big Tobacco donates to a lot of cash to hack politicians, both Democrat and Republican

so, other than the bribes, there is little difference , except maybe the smell
 
Well, their major argument is this

That marijuana contaiins more cancer causing agents than tobacco does. Yet, this is another flawed study. A biased study Yes, in fact when using the same amounts of marijuana and tobacco, marijuana is more likely to cause health issues, but the thing is, one does not smoke the amount of marijuana that they do cigarettes. For instance, a pack of cigarettes a day vs a pack of doobies packed just as tightly. The 8th a day that I smoke is much less than the pack to pack and a half of cigarettes that I smoke, as a 3.5-4.0 gram bag of weed, 1/8th ounce, is only is 5 to six .7 gram joints, which is a standard doobie of course, depending on the quality. I can smoke anywhere from 20 to thirty cigarettes however, depending on if I am drinking or not, I might smoke up to two packs. That's a possibility of FOURTY cigarettes. There's no way that the weed I injest is more dangerous for me than the cigarettes.

It's popaganda aimed at keeping people from smoking weed, because the government doesn't want another industry that the fascists have to initally compete against. Not only that, but atleast in my opinion, they don't want us to think for ourselves, and weed does bring a whole different perspective on things. For instance, every time I get stoned, I remember how easy it should be to fix our government and who exactly has to go

But it's not all republicans, just the big boys in congress. I am a registered republican, because I think that sometimes the choices democrats give me are far too extreme for the health of this country, while admitting at the same time, that conservatives are easily just as flawed.

Too bad a third party would never get a foot in the door.
