I have a hp G62 laptop and it's about a year old. It has been getting really slow lately and I tried defragmenting and clearing up the disk space and deleting unnecessary programs but that didn't help, so I restored it back to factory settings. Even though I restored it everything is still slow.
I made recovery discs for it, but when I restored it to factory settings it didn't say for me to use them at all. Does this mean that I didn't completely restore it back to the day I got it? Although I am pretty sure it did, because I had none of my previous programs or documents and files,etc.
Anyways what should I do to get my laptop to work fast again?
Also, my laptop has a wired connection.
