Robert Griffin III had a great Thanksgiving Day. The rookie quarterback for the Washington Redskins lifted his team over the Dallas Cowboys by a final score of 38-31.
On the day, RGIII was 20-for-28 with 311 yards and four touchdown passes. He also had 29 rushing yards.
The Redskins led 28-3 at halftime but the Cowboy scame roaring back. However, RGIII was able to do just enough to keep his team ahead and happy on Thanksgiving.
Following the game, both the Redskins and the Cowboys have a record of 5-6. Luckily for both teams, the NFC East is so bad that they aren’t out of the playoff picture.
