during the day AND night time? Hello,

I'm a motorcycle rider in need of purchasing protective gears including a helmet and a jacket. I couldn't care less if I was caught dead riding a Harley in a neon top. I ride with safety in mind!

I find that the colors white and yellow distinctively jump out more during the night time. Don't know about during the day time, however. I've also noticed that while the color yellow is more visible than other colors, it seems to make the object closer than it appears.

If not white or yellow, which ones? Which color does not compromise the safety or riding during day and night time? Lime green...?

Based on your road experiences or observations, be it a driver, rider, or a pedestrian, what colors in your opinion might help being able to be seen?

Thank you for your time!

Get whatever riding gear you want, in whatever colour you want. Then wear a hi-vis vest over the top. A hi-vis vest is what road workers and their ilk wear, they are usually neon orange or yellow, with reflective strips on them that shine like crazy.

If people don't see you with an HV vest on, then they are probably legally blind and shouldn't be driving...
