Roasted Puppy recipes?

I'm going to culinary school to learn how to be a chef, and one of the recipes I have been assigned is Roasted Puppy. Does anyone have any tips on how to do this? Do I just go to the pet store and buy a puppy, and do I just put it in the oven while it's still alive and kicking? (like a lobster?)
