He's doing a bunch of things to raise profit but at the same time ruin the game. Yes, the NFL surplus is up...but is the quality??
i hate, ABSOLUTELY HATE everything this guy does 9 out of every 10 times he does something. when exactly is he going to be fired? we dont need a business as commissioner, we need someone who likes football.
we dont need a business man*
WHOA WHOA WHOA do not think that Goodell is protecting players because it is the right thing to do. These fines are just a way to justify increasing the regular season to 18 games. The 16 schedule right now statistically takes 25 years off your life, and a major concern for the players is that 18 games means it will take even more years.
Then there's the fact that the NFL is worried about players suing them later in life, and they need to prove they did everything they could to prevent injury.
these fines are NOT about safety
im studying sports psychology and i got it from my professor. plus, that fact is not unknown to any of the players, i guarantee it
Rob B - you are a moron. you entirely missed my point. im saying that money should NOT dictate how something is run.
Joey - Brett Favre is 41. The average lifespan in the US is 78. Average NFL lifespan is 53.
Patrick B - you are a moron. you sound like the type of person who runs a business and thinks he has morals but is really just cold.
to everyone else - youre right. not every team (and QB) is treated equally in this league.
