Rogers Blackberry 9700 on koodo?

Im thinking about getting a rogers (locked) blackberry 9700. When i check with the compatibility tool on the koodo site it says that the phone will work on their network. Does this mean i will not have to get the phone unlocked? or will i still have to?
 
If you get any sim error while inserting your koodo sim on your Blackberry 9700 means,you will need to unlock your phone.For unlocking you can approach your service provider or else try to buy an unlocking service from any one of the online unlocking service provider like ClassicUnlocking.com
