Rogers cell phone... sim card... new phone??

i got a sony ericsson w810i cell phone back in october, and now i want to get a new cell phone. however rogers said that i had to have mine for at least a full year, before they'd let me buy a new one at the discount price, but I'm wondering if I can buy a phone somewhere else and just transfer my sim card in it... is that possible??? would it still work?
 
Hi yes your rogers sim card will work in new phone only if it is unlocked one .Else if the new phone is locked to some other network then until you unlock it you can't use it with rogers sim ..You can easily unlock your phone using sites like MobileUnlockSolutions.com here they are rendering unlock code for all mobile models at reliable cost.After purchasing the code visit sites like MobileUnlockGuide.com here they are rendering free instruction guide about how to input code in your mobile to unlock it......
