The teacher will always wins if the student finds a way to be like the teacher, it may have a chance.

Old is good but not for long.
Rogers just set record in NFL- 2nd 4000+yd season, better than Farves start.
I'll take Mr Rogers.

Favre's overrated, after playing in the league 19 years im sure any descent quarterback would lead all career stats (btw i think he broke the most interceptions record wayy before he broke any yards records'), and Rogers is playing in a mediocore division with the almighty bears and lions, the vikings started off good but have fallen from the pedistool the media and minnesota fans had them on

I think Rodgers will end up great, and that's that. I don't mean it in any kind of "versus Favre" way. Why compare them? Aaron Rodgers is Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre is Brett Favre. Favre made his legacy his own way. Rodgers too will make a legacy, and it will be his own way. Will Rodgers end up with more Super Bowl rings than Favre? It's possible of course. Will he (or anyone for that matter) break Favre's consecutive starts record? Now way. This is what I mean, different QBs, different accomplishments. Rodgers is already carving out his own legacy, and this record of the 4,000+ first 2 starting seasons is just a small beginning to Rodgers own legacy unique to Favre's, because it's a record Favre will never have. Just like the starts record is a record Rodgers will never have.

Rodgers is around 200 yards away from Favre's highest passing total even though Rodgers is the most sacked quarterback and has a struggling/failing running game at times (only 8 called runs vs the Steelers). Rodgers is doing more than what Favre did (minus the interceptions) with alot less and is in only his second season as a starter. Rodgers, if he keeps it up, is definitely going to be better than Brett.
