I just recently purchased a Nokia E61i unlocked phone which is not carried by Rogers Wireless Canada (Vancouver). It has built in Wi-Fi and whenever I click on it, it would find hotspots. I've been using my home's internet (linksys modem) connection to browse.
Would Rogers still charge me for internet usage even though I do not use their Rogers Internet service? I do not have any data plans so I just want to make sure. Wouldn't it be unfair if they still charge me because technically I am not using their service to use the internet.
