A Gamspot forum poster says that a recent survey he took part in asked for his opinion about an unannounced Playstation Network episodic game called Nine-to-Five.
Here's what he says the description for the game was:
Don't let the nine-to-five eat you alive: Fight back in this interactive sitcom in which you are the star. Kiss the boss's butt to avoid the chopping block. Pretend to laugh at the mailroom flunky's bad jokes. Make a move on a dreamy colleague. Every workday is a new adventure. With a nod to Dilbert and The Office, Nine-to-Five delivers top-shelf humor, outrageous storylines, and hilarious gameplay.
Features
-1. 4 over-the-top episodes introduce you to MegaCorp, a misanthropic multinational corporation
-1. Each episode is approximately 3 hours with sitcom storylines and cliffhangers
-1. Cast of 25 unique and memorable characters
-1. Multiple tactics to get ahead: Chat, cajole, flirt, coerce, and lie
-1. Action packed mini-games like full contact races
-1. Goal-oriented gameplay
-1. Fully customizable player character
-1. Dialogue written and performed by veterans of Comedy Central, Saturday Night Live, The Daily Show, Chappelle's Show, Conan O'Brien, etc.
-1. HD and surround sound
-Each episode is purchased separately online via the PLAYSTATION Store
He goes on to say that the game will run $5 for one episode or $14 for all four. I couldn't get any sort of confirmation out of Sony Online Entertainment. While I sorta doubt the validity of a game that is fully described in a short survey, it does sound like the sort of thing that Peter Dille was eluding to in my interview with him. Of course, it also sounds like the sort of cool little thing that would make for a great announcement at E3. I think I'm sorta 50/50 on this rumor.
I got first info on an unannounced game ... [GameSpot UK]
