Saint Bernard Behavior?

I have a 1 and a half month old saint bernard and he bites/chews on everything he gets a hold of, plastic,wood, PEOPLE and i was just wondering if this is just cuz he's teething or something? i havent had a dog in over 10 years so i dont remember puppy behavior very well.
will he snap out of it or should i start doing something about it??
