samsung monte or samsung galaxy 5?

hey! i m a 15 year old school going child..............and i m confused between monte or galaxy 5 and i have budget of 9500 Rs...................and i know galaxy5 is an android phone but monte has a better camera and looks!! ...................
And i want 2 know that ........having an android phone is any better or different from java based phones?
if yes then what r d features of android!!!!!!!!
