Message: <blockquote data-quote="Ryo" data-source="post: 2642420" data-attributes="member: 290207">i got a usb data cable for my samsung phone - it didnt come with a software CD so i had to download it online, and it wont recognize my phone is plugged in. when i check device manager my phone is listed and it says its working. i have tried all usb ports, uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted my computer and phone, and none of that has worked. when i have the phone in mass storage mode it works fine. and yes i did remember to change it back to modem mode before trying to connect to the program. nothing is wrong with the phone or cord - the program just isnt working and/or Windows OS is causing a problem (which it often does with usb devices... pisses me off.)windows vista home, 32bit. anyone know how to fix this</blockquote>
