Samsung strive threading messages backwards?

I have a samsung strive and have had it for a few months now, in the beginning it was threading messages just fine, normal conversation format with msg then reply and so on... about a week ago it started threading messages backwards? where my msg will go out, the reply will come back but show up above mine, my next msg will go out and show up under my previous one then the reply will come back under that one. its very weird and confusing. I have not dropped in water or anything, i have dropped it though. but why the sudden change and how do i get it back?
