Sanyo HD 42 inches is turning off with my Bell PVR?

My TV turns off when I change the speed of what is on the PVR. Ex: if I wish to go 15 times faster then my TV will shut down around 3 times a minute (and restart alone) till I return to a normal speed. .

I tried the PVR and HDMI cable on my local electronic store. They were perfect.

Then what could it be?
