My computer only supports PATA/IDE hard drives not SATA's (Found out the hard way)
Anyways Do i only need this part for it to work?

Since it hooks to back of SATA hard drive, the back of it hooks to the PATA cords i got.
I am confused if the power & Data would be converted into PATA if i hook this up to my SATA hard drive.
Like does it go like this?
SATA Hard drive --> Converter hooking up to SATA --> PATA cords hooking to other side of converter --> PATA cords hooking up to mother board. Done and complete?
Is that all there is to it? and also is the converter shown all i need? since it takes the place where the power supply & Data cords would go on a computer that has SATA cords originally installed into it, the converter is all i need, since i can only hook up one power supply and 1 data supply cord at one time?
