Dear Dachshund lovers,
In regards to the "Save the Piebald Petition" I want
to thank those of you that have signed the petition,
but as breeders there is not enough of us to make up
the 500 signatures needed by November 1st, we are
falling very short, so we need to do more. I am
writing to plead for your humanity, as breeders and
supporters of the piebald pattern, and asking you to
please contact every buyer you have ever sold a
piebald to or if you own a piebald, ask them to please sign this petition,
so that the puppy they purchased can remain a viable
part of the AKC Dachshund breed standard. We need
every vote we can get. please give your buyers the
following email address
[email protected] we need their name, state, and
to make it simple for them, they can just copy and
paste the following: "I want to save the piebald
pattern"
