I've been having some problems with my iphone three. After the recent update it basically redid itself and wouldn't accept the backup on my laptop. It said something was wrong with it...so i started a new iphone which deleted my contacts because i couldn't find them again and sync them. Well now my computer is saying that it doesn't recognize it...again...and wants me to set up a new iphone...again...and the backup isn't working...again...not that it matters since it wouldn't let me back it up this last time so it's old anyways...but i don't want to loose my contacts again because it's incredibly inconvenient. I can't do anything in my itunes with it because it won't let me get into any of the menus. It just automatically asks me to set up a new phone. Anyone have ANY ideas on what i can do to save my contacts despite my itunes not letting me get to them? I know this is kind of confusing but i don't know how else to explain it.
