Why isn’t there a “save image as” option any more when you view things in “inspect element” in google chrome?
I wish to save a moving gif which appears in the facebook application “fairyland”. The application developers are too clever for me and have done something so that I can’t right click on the image in-situ….. If I do that I end up with a 1x1 file called pixel.gif. So I used to go to the resources tab of “inspect element”, find the gif I wanted in the list, right click on the image that appeared and click on “save as”.
When I tried to do that this morning the only options I get on the “inspect element” menu when I right click are: copy image URL, open in a new tab and inspect element.
I can’t open the gif in a new tab because the developers are too smart again and I just get a message saying you are forbidden access blah blah blah.
Any ideas on how I can save these gif files now?
thanks
edit:
I can't move to another browser to get the image because they only appear at certain points when a set of conditions have been met (which is not very often). If the page is refreshed or looked at in another browser the moving gif won't be there.
