Hi! So I'm a fourteen year old who gets really squeamish with things like blood and such. I've had maybe 3 or 4 periods (it's my first year so it's irregular). I am leaving to go on vacation in like a week. My sister just got her period and we usually get it around the same time. I am afraid that I will get my period while I'm in Hawaii where I will obviously be swimming. I have never used a tampOn nor do I want to I think they're really creepy I just don't like the idea of touching myself or sticking something up there. I have only used pads. I don't wanna have to learn to use tampons while I'm not at home. How much do tampons hurt? Will I get blood on my hands? Do I have to stick my fingers inside (ew)? Do menstrual cups work/ would they be a better option? I've heard they go up less farther and are more hygienic. Let me know ! I feel like I might get it soon and I'm worried
