Scary/Horror Movie Opinions?

My friend is really scared of ghosts so for halloween i think we're just gonna sit around with a couple boxes of candy and watch some horror movies. Got any good suggestions that have like a good but scary ghost type plot line to it? I'm talking more scary than gorry. If you know any movies then thanks!

I like Insidious and paranormal activity. Both of them make you jump, and are not gory at all.
