Searching for old status updates, facebook!?

Is there a way to search/find really old status updates from months ago (maybe even up to a year ago)! Clicking the 'older posts' button is not an option as this will take hours and hours, so please don't suggest this!

Any help greatly appreciated!

There's an app called Status Statistics.

It lets you read your past updates (all the way from when you started using Facebook) and it sorts them by month.
