Why do some people insist on advertising their property for sale with estate agents with a range price ie 150,000 to 180,000. Surely when making an offer on a house, as with a car, you never offer the asking price, let alone offer an upper price if you are presented with a range. Its a buyers market, if you can get a mortgage, so why do people put their property on the market with a price range ?
