Selling my car not sure about handing over Mot certificate.?

Hello I am selling my car privately. What I need to know is I understand that on completion of the sale I will need to hand over the vehicle registration details. However would I need to hand over the MOT test certificate as well. The car has been MOT recently for 6 months until March 2008 and the MOT cert covers the car until October 2009. Please advise. Selling my car is very daunting.

vehicle registration is for you only.. they dont get that or tags ..you can give them the mot ... thats nothing.. you only need to sign the back of tittle under sellers name and then they sign it under buyers name get your money first
