The Senate voted 97-0 Wednesday to confirm Beverly Baldwin Martin, President Obama's nominee to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, which oversees Alabama, Florida and Georgia, CQ Today reports. Martin, a district judge in Georgia since 2000, was nominated in June 2009.
