For example, being able to make meals out of scratch, or knowing a few basic recipes or the ability to prepare elaborate meals.

Thanks for Answering! =)

I am no longer able to cook - due to minimal use of my hands. We - my husband and I take meal on wheels and they are very tasty and mostly cooked from scratch.

One of my great joys in life was the pride I took in preparing each and every meal.

I was an excellent cook. Not to brag - but I loved preparing a meal from scratch and know how much my family enjoyed it.

I taught my girls to cook and lucky for me that I did. They often bring in meals that taste like my own cooking.

I have two favorites. Irish Stew with Soda Bread and Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup with a big round biscuit with honey.

Not sure my cooking was elaborate. It was more like down home cooking.

Now you have me yearning for a slice of home made bread with butter and honey - right out of the oven.

Love my Spaghetti and Lasagna with green salad and garlic bread.
Yum! Hungry for my cooking.
Thanks for asking.
DeeJay.
