Not sure if anyone has read anything, but I've seen numerous articles online stating Serena Williams could lose her leg due to infection.

The sources are not said to be reliable, and are probably false, but you never know..

What do you guys think? She's been out of the game for AGES and it's hard to understand why if it was just a 'cut'.. so clearly she's had infection?
 
May I see the articles that you read? Im not entirely doubting you, this "news" is just very fatfetch'd.

It could be infected because of the cut and maybe she didn't treat it 100%; but like I said, Im not sure what to say about this because it hasn't been confirmed by Serena Williams herself, or one of the doctors treating her.

I hope she doesnt lose her leg, btw
