ok well i have a big garage not connected to the house... there is power and heat out there and i want to use it for LAN parties... well there is no internet in there. I thought i could maybe run like a 400 foot ethernet cable form my house internet to the garage then connect it to a switch but switches are expensive so i was wondering if there was another way i could get my internet out there without buying a whole new internet service...
