Sex during genital wart treatment (TCA)?

I have a mild case of genital warts that I got from my first and only partner (I'm 24). I've gotten two TCA peels every 2 weeks with up to 4 more to go. It's been a month since I've had sex with my boyfriend, and since I lust for him and don't want to keep him hanging longer than this, would it be safe to do it with a condom if we limit the number of encounters? Serious answers only, please.
