Is it right that here in the UK, to prove our commitment to sexual equality, we are going to allow a law which states that only "Females" can apply for certain MP's seats.

This has already been the case for a few councillots seats on local elections.

So the question is, is it right to discriminate against one section of society, to ensure the other section of society is not discriminated against.?

Remember, we live in a democracy (supposedly), candidates are voted for freely, it appears that even females who vote, in the main, are voting for the male candidates. So to solve this they are going to take away the male candidates.

Is that fair, Is that democracy?
Hi Shady

Now I get it, so when those people in Luton got arrested, it was just "Balancing things out" and not any form of discrimination!
